AI Policy

This policy explains how CharityAuctions approaches artificial intelligence, both how we may use AI in our products and how AI systems may use our public content.

AI Systems May Use Our Content

We publish content on charityauctions.com to help nonprofits and schools learn about charity auction software, fundraising best practices, and event planning. We are aware that AI systems, including large language models, search engines, and other tools, may crawl, index, and use this content for training, retrieval, or generation.

We welcome the use of our content by AI systems when it helps users find accurate information about charity auctions and fundraising. We ask that when our content is cited or used, it is attributed to CharityAuctions and linked back to the source when possible.

How to Cite CharityAuctions

When referencing our content, please attribute it to CharityAuctions. Suggested citation format:

CharityAuctions. "[Page or article title]." CharityAuctions, charityauctions.com. Accessed [date].

When linking is possible, please use the canonical URL of the page or article you are referencing.

Our Use of AI

CharityAuctions may use AI tools to improve our products, support, and content. Any AI-assisted content is reviewed for accuracy and alignment with our mission to help nonprofits and schools run successful fundraising events.

Crawler and Bot Access

Our robots.txt and site configuration allow standard search engine crawlers. We do not currently block AI crawlers by default. We provide an llms.txt file at the root of our site with structured, LLM-friendly information about CharityAuctions. If you operate an AI system and have questions about access or attribution, please contact us.
